ASK Banquet

WOW! What an evening! Not only has God blessed our church with lovely ladies, but their hearts sure are in the right place along with their looks. On May 17th our church (Crosspoint Fellowship) hosted a building campaign for our brand spankin' new facilities! All that attended were asked to give sacrificially on top of their monthly tithe. This is the true basis of sacrifice, to let God be the Lord of your life and of your "checkbook". I know this has rocked me to the core a couple of times. Some days I'm all for it, and other days I cling to every penny. Why do we do that?

I know that this will be a time of growth for our church body as we rely on what God has given us and rely on each other. The ASK campaign is the foundation of this blog. It is where I got the idea. God has given me love for other women at my church. I only hope that others can look on this blog and see that there are ladies who are looking for friends, unity, and an outfit or two!

Thank you for not judging me for starting this blog. I love the Lord and fashion, and I believe that I can use my gifts to glorify Him. Do you have any gifts that you can use? Have they been laying dormant? I want to encourage you to use them, whatever they may be to glorify the Lord.

First Mission!

Ok gals, our first mission/project is the ASK campaign Banquet dinner on Sunday, May 17th. I have heard that it is a business casual/dressy event. I for one am quite excited to dress up for an event for our church because as you know, we are a casual bunch of Jesus freaks. Anywhooooo- does anyone need anything? Cute top, skirt, dress, shoes, accessories, purse....strapless bra?!!!! Let's get this party started!

I need a cute black clutch- nothing too fancy. No sequins or anything- just trendy and cute!Anyone willing to let me borrow? I plan on taking a couple of pics at the the banquet since me and the hub will be dressed up (which is rare!)
